The opposite of light is darkness and the opposite of life is death. But is there anything like the kingdom of light? Is it spiritual, physical, or both? What Do We Mean By The Kingdom of Light?

Just as there is a kingdom of darkness and death, there is a kingdom of light and life. Light is that which defines. Without light, we can’t know or see ourselves. We will be in the dark. In the same way, without freedom and understanding, we will be in the dark without information. The kingdom of light therefore is the kingdom of God.

The kingdom of darkness and death is where Satan, demons and all fallen angels rule and reign. The kingdom of light and life is where Jesus, God and holy angels rule and reign. These are opposites of each other. Even though Africans don’t believe in the Devil or Satan, naturally, evil is evident everywhere in Africa, even in 2023.

The kingdom of light and life is where there freedom and knowledge. This is where there love and compassion. This is where people are made aware of whom they are according to their Creator. God wants us to know how much He loves and cares for us. He also wants us to love and care for each other. There is nothing important hidden from us because we are God’s children.

In this kingdom, we know who we are as the Father knows us. We know the Father as He is, in His way. We know other people as they are, God’s way. We know the rest of God’s creatures just as they are, God’s way. This is because every manufacturer knows its products better than anyone else. In the same way, God knows us, His products more than anyone else. If you want to know yourself better, ask God.

But in the kingdom of darkness and death, there is no time for awareness and knowledge. Satan always betrays. He always deceives, and that’s his job from the very beginning. He does that in order to steal, kill, and to destroy God’s children. But how come God allows him to cause trouble to His dear and beloved children? This is too high for us to ask. We better say we don’t know the answer. But in the kingdom of light and life, everything is brought to light. Nothing is ever done in the darkness. This is because there’s transparency in our kingdom. When we say, “Yes,” we always means “Yes,” and when we say, “No,” we always mean to say “No,” and nothing more and nothing less. This is not so in the kingdom of darkness.

Again, the kingdom of darkness is at work in the human kingdom. This human kingdom is just above the animal kingdom, which means it shares a lot of things in common with it. Most humans deceive because they belong to their father, the Devil, the liar from the beginning, the father of lies. When they lie, they know it. The opposite is true in our kingdom of light and life. Jesus is indeed the light of Life, and those who follow Him shall never walk in darkness but have the Light of Life.

How Do We Know About The Kingdom of Light?

We know about the kingdom of light at church and from the written Word of God, the Bible. God’s Word teaches us all things about ourselves, individually, collectively, and about the rest of God’s creation around us. Through the Word of God, we understand, we are aware that things were made of smaller particles that eyes can’t see—atoms.

Through the Word, we know we are not a result of chance and randomness void. We are created. We are designed for the Master’s use. There was plan before us. God sat down to design each one us in His own ways. It’s not by chance that only you were able to penetrate the ovum, the eggs, when the rest of 40,000,000+ sperm cells couldn’t. It sounds like a mere chance, but is it?

Even natural science testifies of how unique you are more than the Bible itself does, and that means something. From your inner being, you know you were not a result of mere chance but of design. Or maybe I am trying to force this down your throat? But I know, I don’t just believe that this is true because I am from this kingdom of light where we know things just as they are.

Our knowledge is known as epignosis, the personal kind of knowledge when we literally become one with that which is known. That’s not discovery knowledge, it is called revelation knowledge. We know things from within us, not from without. We are sure that what we know is true because God reveals it to us. This is powerful. This means we have a different light. This is the light of God.

To know the kingdom light, to see it, you must be born into it, personally. The rebirth process is not that difficult, but it’s not easy as well. We can’t do it ourselves because it’s the work of God the Holy Spirit who enables us to receive New Life into our spirits. But our part is to open our hearts for Jesus to enter in, the seed of the New Life, the Life of God. Therefore, the first thing to do is to know that you are a sinner, and that you are on your way to eternal death, eternal separation from God. Then receive the free gift of God, Jesus Christ, which is His way, His remedy for that human tragedy by faith.

You can do this by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and then confess it with your mouth. From there, if the Spirit gives you His understanding, you will be born into the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Light and Life.

Welcome home! You are now a child of God, and you will be able to know the kingdom of light as this is understood from the light of God’s Word, not from the light of human soul. Now you will begin to understand the things of the Spirit of God. You will be able to discern the things of the kingdom because you are alive to God, spiritually.

Is It Important To Know The Kingdom of Light?

If you want to know the kingdom of light and life, it’s important, very important to study this concept. That’s how important it is. As explained above, the only way for you to see the kingdom of God, the kingdom of light and life, is to become part of it. You have to be born again by the water and spirit. This new birth, this regeneration, is done hundred percent by the Spirit of God.

If you want to experience the kingdom of God, if you want to have new life, better study the kingdom of light and life. To go from the natural kingdom of darkness, the human kingdom, the kingdom of this world, to the kingdom of light, read more about it. You have to better understand it first.

It’s important to know the kingdom of light and life because that will make you know the different between light and darkness. Those in the dark thing they are in the light. This is because they don’t know the real difference between light and darkness. They thing they see but they don’t see.

But when you are in the light, you judge all things, and nothing judges or understands you. This is because light defines and explains things. The Bible says that Jesus Christ was the light of men, meaning He gave them understanding.

When you are in Christ, you have the light of life, and you won’t walk in the darkness of ignorance anymore. You know there is God, and that God is now your Father, the one who loves and cares for you. If you still run away from God, or if you think He doesn’t even exist, check your heart now. It means something is wrong. It means you are in the darkness. This is because only those in darkness can’t see God. When you are in the light, you will see and acknowledge God as He is, and that’s faith.
