Webhosting Made Simple with Bluehost

1st May 2023

In this article, we are going to look at what Bluehost is and how it works, how to register for an account, how important it is to use it, how it relates to your personality type, and what’s your take in it personally. If you want to own a self-hosted website with features such as mobile-friendly, responsive, and security, you need Bluehost. With that said, let’s get started!

What Is Bluehost?

Bluehost is one of the best and reliable webhosting and domain registering companies on earth, powering more than 2 million websites worldwide at the time of this writing. This means you can use them to register your custom domains and host your files and folders on their servers.

“Bluehost is a web hosting company owned by Endurance International Group. It was one of the 20 largest web hosts in 2015 and was collectively hosting over 2 million domains in 2010.” ~ wikipedia.org.

When you talk about websites, you are referring to two main things: domain registration and web hosting. The first refers to domain names such as johnshalom.com, and the second refers to rentals. You rent a server to keep your files there. Your website needs those files for it to run.

Bluehost can help you kill the two birds with one stone. You can register your domain names and also host all your files such as documents, photos, videos, and graphics. I also recommend you don’t upload heavy files such as videos directly to your website.

How Does Bluehost Work?

Bluehost works like a charm when it comes to registering domain names and hosting your files and folders. Their customer support system was the best at the time of this writing. You can reach out to them by email, phone call, and even live chat. I have been using them since December 2017 to date, and there is no issue with the support.

But how really does it work?

When you register, it means you pay for the package you have chosen, and this creates an account for you. You then need to login to that account and then create custom domains depending on your hosting type. There are many hosting types to choose from. It works based on the package and its features selected. There are also some special features you can select yourself, and you may pay for those separately, for example, Dedicated IP, pro SSLs, and others.

However, these also depend on the hosting package chosen. Some of those things might be included in the main hosting account, so you might not need to pay for them separately. For example, we have shared hosting, dedicated hosting, WordPress hosting, and others.

How Do I Register With Bluehost?

Now, to register for a Bluehost account, you can click here and then fill out the form. Remember that if you use this link, I will earn a small commission if you pay for any web hosting package. This is because I am their affiliate marketer or a partner. This also means that you are likely to get these packages with reduced prices because of me.

After filling the form above and completing your payment using any of their acceptable payment options such as credit cards or PayPal, you will be ready to log in to your account and edit it. You can add a profile picture, save a payment option, and edit your physical address, billing address, and much more.

But before you register, you need to plan.

First, what kind of a website do you want to create? For example, if you want to create a personal website, then you need to start with a basic web hosting package, since you don’t need more than one domain. But if you want to create an account for a website building company, you need a bigger package.

Second, prepare yourself mentally and psychologically. This can be done long before you choose a web building package. It means to sit down with you or as a team and think about this for a while. You can brainstorm and then come up with the final decision based on the goal you want to achieve, personally, or collectively.

The Importance of Using Bluehost

Is it really important to use Bluehost? The answer depends on what you want to do with them. If you really need a custom domain, a secure website, and the best custom support, you need them. As mentioned earlier, you can use them either to create your own website or as a business: creating websites for other people.

This means you can create a business of your own out of this article. You can build websites for individuals and for institutions such as NGOs and churches, or government institutions. This is business. Learn it and work on it. You will charge your clients a different fee of your choice for your services.

For me, Bluehost is the go-to company for creating my personal website, as well as doing business. I create websites for individuals and organizations in South Sudan. This is how important it is for me to use Bluehost tools and services. I am their client and I also have my own clients under me. I build responsive and secure websites for others including churches and NGOs using them. They are the best tool I know at least to the time of this writing.

Bluehost and Personality Types

Now, what your personality type? This of course relates to how you will think, speak, and act about this article. Your personality type determines everything you do including your career, and it is a good career to create and develop websites isn’t it? I think it is. I know it is. I do it and I enjoy what I do. It’s a good career.

But it all depends on your personality type rather on your ability. Your ability by itself hangs on your personality, which I believe many of us overlook. In everything you do, your personality matters, a lot. When people talk about career, they mostly neglect personality. However, I believe any career in line with a personality type is always the best career ever.

This means you will do it with leisure and pleasure instead of pressure, if at all the career is based on your type. There are many things we force ourselves into, and this includes career hunting. People work because money and because of other needs. These are not bad reasons to find a job that helps you pay your bills.

However, I encourage you to discover what you are good at. I love writing, and this for sure is not the best way to earn a living at the time of this writing. There are many factors involved such as difficulty in finding readers, and much more. However, I love what I do. I love the process.

Now, do you love building websites? Have you ever tried it before? Have you ever created a website before? Are you happy with the process? These are self-reflection questions for you, and I think you don’t have to just read them and go on. You need to take action. Think about the questions above and try to answer them honestly.

If you still haven’t done so, please read my personal and professional development books. They might not be the best, but they are my very own products. I use them myself to discover and improve myself and my career. I know the fact that these processes work.

Even if the processes shared in these books won’t work in the same ways for everyone who reads them, I know the fact that if you apply the steps in your own ways; they are likely to work for you. Give them a try and see the results.

You might also want to read more about what I do by clicking here. This is to help you know more about me in relation to knowing yourself better. Your personality type is a spectrum kind of thing. This means we are all unique.
